The Property Services Team adopts a Total Facilities Management (TFM) regime, where we work towards an integrated service delivery for the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute.

By uniting all aspects of facilities management, including maintenance, facilities projects, goods-in, catering, security and reception, we can deliver the overall Property Services strategy; to lead the built environment forward while maintaining world-class scientific facilities.

Our team ensures that the scientists at the Institute have the ideal environment for their research. This is done by providing and maintaining an effective working environment that encourages collaboration, allowing the Institute to attract and retain world-class employees in premises that supports and enhances their work while ensuring that our building and services conform to sustainability best practice.

We work collaboratively with our stakeholders to provide timely and cost effective solutions, while ensuring legal compliance, security and resilience of our Institute behind the scenes. Our aim is to foster a genuine customer focused culture throughout the Property Services team. We continually seek to improve our service delivery performance across all Facilities Management services via feedback from stakeholders and responding positively to suggestions.

All of the above is collectively achieved through planned preventative maintenance regimes, management regimes, well-trained, motivated staff and, above all, a team spirit with a “can do” attitude.
