Building Three-Dimensional Surface Biological Assemblies on the Nanometer Scale
- Abstract:
- We describe a new approach for building 3D protein−DNA complex features on patterned surfaces created by microcontact printing and AFM nanoshaving using the sequential assembly of streptavidin and bis-biotinylated DNA. We demonstrate that this approach offers fine control over the feature position, size, and especially height, where we have nanometer precision.
