British Sign Language tour of the Institute
Former PhD Student Lynn Asante-Asare teamed up with YouTuber Aliko Lu to explore the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute in British Sign Language, discussing cancer facts and life in the lab.
Aliko Lu is a deafĀ Youtuber, social media influencer, member of theĀ Deaf Ex-Mainstreamers Group, promoting better access to education for deaf children, and an ambassador for theĀ National Deaf Childrenās Society, the leading charity for deaf children and young adults.
Lynn Asante-Asare has recently completed her PhD in theĀ Brindle GroupĀ where she focused on imaging, investigating the use of MRIs to monitor the progression of cancer. She is now studying Medicine at the University of Leicester Medical School.
