Nefeli has a BSc in Biological Sciences and an MRes in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Imperial College London. She is currently part of the Wellcome Trust 1+3 program in Stem Cell Biology and Medicine.
Nefeli’s PhD project focuses on the process of colorectal cancer initiation. She is interested in understanding how cancer mutations disrupt the homeostatic stem cell dynamics to achieve a high mutational burden in the normal human colon.
