Mullerian adenosarcoma of the uterus is a rare biphasic tumor, which was first described in 1974. Recent studies have suggested an association with tamoxifen therapy, but there have been few reports with detailed imaging findings. We present a case with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings of this rare tumor in a woman who received long-term tamoxifen therapy for breast cancer. In addition, myometrial invasion was detected more accurately with MRI compared to ultrasound in this one single case.
