Abstract:
OBJECTIVE: In this study, we evaluated the feasibility of using dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) subtracted images as a predictor of a decrease in tumor volume in response to chemoradiotherapy in 13 patients with cervical cancer. CONCLUSION: This study shows that pretreatment tumor nonenhancing fraction assessed with arterial image subtraction inversely predicts the chemoradiation response in cervical cancer.
