The Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute (CI) is a joint venture between Cancer Research UK and the University of Cambridge and is situated on the Addenbrooke’s Biomedical Campus in Cambridge. The Institute aims to link the laboratory to the clinic carrying out cancer research of direct relevance to patients. We aim to save more lives by preventing, controlling and curing cancer; our science holds the solution.
Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute is looking for an executive assistant to the Director, Professor Greg Hannon. This role is maternity cover. The role holder will be a highly organised, articulate and adaptable administrator and an effective team player with a high standard of interpersonal skills providing efficient and confidential support to the Director, his laboratory members and his associated staff in the CRUK Cambridge Institute. The role holder will provide comprehensive administrative support, dealing with confidential issues on Director’s behalf and routinely liaising with a large number of internal and external contacts, including those at the highest level in the University, Addenbrooke’s and the pharmaceutical industry.
Temporary cover: This post is fixed-term for 12 months or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.
