As a part of the Rosenfeld group, I am currently working on a project related to developing ctDNA-based biomarkers from minimally invasive biospecimens for the early detection and monitoring of cancer.

I have a research background in molecular oncology. I completed my PhD in 2015 at Assam University in India, where I studied the molecular mechanisms of oral and oesophagal cancer development. After completing my PhD, I joined International Agency for Research on Cancer-World Health Organization, France, in 2015 as a postdoctoral researcher. During this time, I focused on identifying DNA methylome alterations associated with oesophagal cancer in high-incidence populations of the world. I am passionate towards advancing our knowledge of cancer aetiology and working towards the development of better biomarkers for theranostics.
